Our CCC Jacquard Wool Jac-Shirt pays tribute to the Civilian Conservation Corps. The CCC was a 1930s New Deal initiative implemented by Franklin D. Roosevelt that combined his passion for our wildlands with the need for jobs during the depression era. The hard-working men of the CCC replanted forests, fought wildfires and provided aid during times of natural disasters.
Made with an extra-heavy 28-oz. wool/cotton blend, this is our heaviest Jac-Shirt. It’s jacquard-woven, with a large CCC emblem woven in the back and elements of the CCC logo wrapping around the waist. The two chest pockets secure with buttons that are hidden under the flaps. The front closure and adjustable cuffs secure with natural horn buttons.
Jac-Shirts have been a pillar of our outdoor clothing lineup for more than half a century for a good reason: maximum versatility. This limited-edition heavyweight version is one of our most special so far. Limited quantities available.
